Statesman Farm Stallions
Chief of State
Chief of State (Chevy) is a son of The Statesman and is now senior stallion at Statesman Farm. Lynne bred Chevy, helped him come into the world, raised him, trained him, showed him, and loves every hair on his body, including his overly thick mane and tail! He is truly the versatile Morgan, best friend and helper-outer for all things. He has won more championships than Lynne can remember to name in both open and Morgan competition. His accomplishments include dressage, carriage, hunter over fences and trail. He has mainstreamed handicapped riders, teaches beginners and children as well as advanced riders to ride and drive, will carry double, will pony other horses, and loves to give pony rides. You name it, he's done it with a smile. He has beautiful movement, wonderful intelligence, great kindness, and excellent conformation. Chevy, at the age of 24, carried USDF young rider Mindy Potteiger to a year end high point win at First Level in the CAMDA dressage Association year end awards. Chevy passes along his wonderful disposition and great athleticism very consistently to his offspring and has produced numerous show-winning offspring. Chevy stands at Statesman Farm to outside mares. His stud fee is $1000. Please go to the Photographs page to see more pictures of Chief of State.
Statesman's Skyhawk
This delightful young buckskin stallion is now jointly owned by Lynne Shpak and Mindy Potteiger. He has yet to be shown but demonstrates a wonderful disposition and is doing training level dressage and is an excellent carriage driving horse. He also enjoys going over cavalettis and shows great potential as a hunter. His conformation is excellent and he has three very good gaits with a long floating stride. Skyhawk has four lovely 2006 babies on the ground that show great consistency. They fit the Statesman mold showing the Statesman conformation and movement. He'll be standing at Carmindy Ridge Farm in Duncannon PA, and at Statesman Farm. His stud fee is $750. Please go to the Photographs page to see more pictures of Skyhawk.
