Boarding and Training
Hurray Elizabeth is back! Lynne at the young age of 71 is delighted to have Elizabeth join in the fun and work at Statesman Farm. Elizabeth shines, in my opinion, as a fine horseman and especially shines in the hunter, jumper, and equitation fields. We will therefore be accepting more horses for training in Hunters, Dressage, and Carriage training. We are especially good at backing youngsters in a quiet and thorough manner. Elizabeth knows Lynne’s methods and ways since she mentored with Lynne for several years after college before leaving and starting her own family and continuing her career in Florida. Lynne feels as comfortable with Elizabeth backing and training a horse as she would if she did it herself.
In addition to working horses bred by Statesman Farm, Lynne and Elizabeth are taking two to four outside horses in for training per year, and of course they love being involved with the training of horses that are Statesman bred. Elizabeth and Lynne are also offering private and semi-private lessons in dressage, driving, equitation and hunters. Statesman Farm offers full board and training board with 7 - 10 spots available at a time.
